Wishing Tree

Have you ever seen those cool trees people have at weddings where you write a wish for the bride and the groom and hang it on the tree? Don't you wish those kinds of trees were everywhere? Me too!

When I found these extra tags from an old school project I thought they would be perfect for our neighborhoods very first wishing tree!

I came up with a little poem,

and hung it one morning on a tree.

I came back real early the following morning to find the wishes in bloom!

Here are some of my favorite! (You can always click on them to see them better.)


and I love this one because its about a little boy named Max... I would wish this for my Max too!

Here are some nice wishes that fell down.

All in all, I was happy to find all of my 70 some wish tags were used up! I guess I'll just have to make more! If you have a wish you would like added to the tree, leave a comment or send me an email. I would be happy to add it for you. You just never know if it will come true!

Being Max's Mommy Rocks Because....

When I am struck by an awesome idea to make him a few silly iron on t-shirts,

then slave over the hot iron to make sure they come out really great... ;)

He doesn't care if they turn out just as planned,

or have some minor blemishes (such as a backward letter here and there, and/or a very professional magic marker touch up job)...

He rocks it just the same.

It's a Miniature World

I started playing around in Photoshop with an old picture from grad school graduation... Apparently, you can make people look like little miniature toys! How cool is that? (If you click on it, you can see it better.) It makes me want to start taking all my pictures like this :)
